same as last week
I was actually surprised that it hadn't gone up. Not a great eating week or weekend.

269.5
I'm pretty happy with this week's success. Mostly I focused on bringing in and eating lunch (a frozen ww entree and fruit). I still had a few snacks during the week, but not everyday.

20 days later
well it's twenty days later and no one has posted, so I take it this one is a flop too. I'm not up to posting, don't really like computers that much, since I'm on one most of the day at work, and what do people actually do on these. I find it boring. Heh i'm a tv person and guess I will always be one..
bye sistas..

I think Yesterday was an anomaly
Down to 266.5 today. I know you shouldn't weigh everyday, but I feel better knowing it's down. What did I do differently? I cooked dinner, grilled steak, baked potato, and peas. So, there's portion control and a bit healthier. I didn't snack at work and no alcohol at dinner and no dessert (I don't usually do dessert, so that's not really a big sacrifice).
Today, I had a smaller breakfast (I finished B's english muffin and banana with my cereal yesterday). I ate my frozen lunch instead of a huge sandwich and chips. I did have some poptarts instead of fruit, though (I couldn't help it they were just sitting on the counter in the kitchen and I want more). I'm not sure about dinner tonight. We didn't plan anything. I think I might pick up some Boca chicken patties and have them. B would probably like them, too.
So tomorrow, even less sugar and more cooking (I'm making a quick and easy chicken soup).
I do, most definitely, need to find some exercise time.

269
I'd like to point out that I wasn't really gaining this fast until SOMEONE insisted we do a joint blog together. Now, no one's blogging and I'm getting fatter and fatter. I'd like to say I'll go for a walk at lunch, but that would be a lie. I will make better food decisions.

Now I know what I can drink!
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A fruity cocktail may not only be fun to drink but may count as health food, U.S. and Thai researchers said on Thursday.
Adding ethanol -- the type of alcohol found in rum, vodka, tequila and other spirits -- boosted the antioxidant nutrients in strawberries and blackberries, the researchers found.
Any colored fruit might be made even more healthful with the addition of a splash of alcohol, they report in the Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture.
Dr. Korakot Chanjirakul and colleagues at Kasetsart University in Thailand and scientists at the U.S. Department of Agriculture stumbled upon their finding unexpectedly.

They were exploring ways to help keep strawberries fresh during storage. Treating the berries with alcohol increased in antioxidant capacity and free radical scavenging activity, they found.
Any colored fruit or vegetable is rich in antioxidants, which are chemicals that can cancel out the cell-damaging effects of compounds called free radicals.
Berries, for instance, contain compounds known as polyphenols and anthocyanins. People who eat more of these fruits and vegetables have a documented lower risk of cancer, heart disease and some neurological diseases.
The study did not address whether adding a little cocktail umbrella enhanced the effects.

it would be nice if:
i haven't weighed my self yet either. but wouldn't it be nice if marijuana was legal? i bet that most of the population would lose weight because healthy food would taste so much better..

261.5
I'm using that number, period-enhanced weightloss, I'm sure, to encourage me to eat the healthy food I brought instead of going out and getting the chicken cutlet wrap I really want.
That and it's still raining.

Still haven't
I still haven't weighed myself. And I'm not sure if that's because I'm sleepy in the mornings and not thinking of it or if it's some subconscious thing I'm doing so that I don't have to deal with the large number I'm sure will be looming out of the tiny clear window between my plump toes. (nice imagery, huh?).
Anyway, I'm trying to eat better, but so far it isn't working all that well.
Today I had a 12 ounce coffee, a peanut butter and fluff sandwich on white toast, and a bowl of Golden Grahams. For my beverage w/lunch I had/am having 24 ounces of green apple Kool-aid.
Not entirely healthy, but better than doritos and m&m's, right?

down a half
Woot! Just kidding. I'm not that excited to be down a half a pound. I did bring sneakers to work and will be taking a half-hour walk a lunch. I'm also drinking a bottle of water, which means I have to go pee right now.

Fat and Yucky
So, yep. It's a fact. I am at my heaviest weight ever. I'm not 100% sure of the actual poundage but I'm in the neighborhood of 225. I will do a weighing in the morning and report in.
I'm not sure about the 2 of you, but I plan on using this blog as more than just a weekly weigh-in. Hopefully we can all feel comfortable enough to post about more than just the numbers. I do. and I will.
:)
Happy "spring"

Okay, I'll go first
This was all Stephie's idea, but I do need some motivation. I'm up to 264. Yep, that's 50 pounds more than when I came back to work after having B. Gross.
